We’re looking for a Junior Payroll Specialist to support and execute payroll operations for our growing portfolio of clients, with a primary focus on Malaysia . You’ll handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensure compliance with local regulations, and deliver an exceptional client experience.
While your core expertise will be Malaysian payroll, exposure to additional markets such as Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, or Vietnam is a strong advantage. You will also have opportunities to collaborate with external vendors for other countries and contribute to creating high-value payroll content such as guides, best practices, and training materials.

Payroll Processing & Compliance
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Malaysian clients, including salary calculations, statutory deductions, overtime, allowances, and benefits.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursements with strict confidentiality.
- Stay updated on Malaysian payroll laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF, EA forms, etc.).
- Support multi-country payroll work (Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam) when needed, working alongside senior team members and external vendors.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports for monthly and year-end filings.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, resolving payroll-related queries with professionalism and speed.
- Collaborate with external payroll vendors for markets outside Malaysia to ensure service quality and compliance.
- Work closely with finance and HR teams to ensure smooth integration of payroll with other HR processes.
Content Creation & Knowledge Sharing
Contribute to payroll-related content :Guides, FAQs, and best-practice documents for clients
Internal knowledge-base materialsTraining content (including HRDC-certified programs) under the guidance of senior team membersTrack regulatory updates in Malaysia and support summary updates for other markets.Process Improvement & Automation
Identify gaps and propose improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with tech and product teams to strengthen payroll system features and integrations.What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.2+ years of hands‑on payroll processing experience, ideally within a service provider or outsourcing environment.Strong expertise in Malaysia payroll legislation, taxation, and statutory contributions.Exposure to other markets (Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam) is a plus but not required.Experience with cloud-based HR or payroll systems (BrioHR, Talenta, Swingvy, etc.).Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.Excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer‑oriented mindset.Interest in learning, continuous improvement, and contributing to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
