KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversees all operations and day-to-day activities in a hotel organization, including managing everything from accounting, sales, business development, and customer service.
- Ensure full compliance with Hotel operation control, SOP’s policies, procedures, and service standards
- Responsible for the preparation, presentation, and subsequent achievement of the hotel’s annual operating Budget, Marketing and sales plan, and capital budget.
- Ensure all decision is made in the best interest of the hotel and management.
- Developing improvement actions and carrying out cost savings.
- Prepare a monthly management report.
- Coordination with HODs for the execution of all the activities and functions.
- Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads daily.
- Monitoring employee performance and conducting regular evaluations to help improve customer service.
- Resolving issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies.
- Organizing activities and assigning responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity.
- Creating and applying a marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services and amenities.
- Coordinating with external parties, including suppliers, travel agencies, and conference planners.
- Evaluating hotel performance and ensuring compliance with health and safety rules.
- Partaking in financial activities, including establishing room rates, setting budgets, and assigning funds to departments.
QUALIFICATION
Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or any related fieldMinimum 5 years of working experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.Good in numerical, verbal and written communication skillsGood interpersonal skills and customer serviceSeniority level
