Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum 3 years experience in a project specifier or similar role within construction industry. Strong understanding of construction materials, products and systems, including performance characteristics and installation requirements. Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, specifications and other technical documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration. Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Problem‑solving skills and critical thinking to identify and resolve issues. About the role
Project Specifier at Astino Metal Industries Sdn Bhd.
Full‑time position based in Nibong Tebal, Penang.
Key responsibilities include :
- Collaborate with project managers, architects and clients to understand project requirements and develop detailed specifications.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify appropriate materials, products and systems that align with objectives and budget.
- Prepare comprehensive specification documents, including technical details, performance criteria and installation instructions.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of specified materials and equipment.
- Monitor project progress and adjust specifications as needed to address challenges or changes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, regulations and best practices in construction project specification.
