Inside Sales and Customer Service Executive

Top Beraten is currently looking for an Inside Sales and Customer Service Executive in Malaysia for a renowned manufacturing company headquartered in Germany.

About the Company

Our client is a leading European manufacturer of valves, controls, and systems for the building services industry. Established as a foundry of brass fixtures in 1851, the company has since evolved into a global manufacturer of products for the HVAC industry. This family‑owned business is rooted in Germany and has a strong international presence with seven subsidiaries and numerous sales agencies worldwide.

For its new Kuala Lumpur–based facility, the company will serve customers across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate daily with international clients and the sales team about ongoing orders, shipping details, and product information.
  • Prepare and calculate quotations, process incoming orders, and keep customers updated on their status.
  • Coordinate closely with service providers and warehouse to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support the purchasing process by liaising with teams in Germany and China.
  • Receive and process requests from customers and the sales team for price quotations and product availability.
  • Provide order status (estimated delivery, status of order, etc.) to customers and the sales team.
  • Coordinate logistics / orders to ship with our 3PL provider located in Johor.
  • Prepare export and shipping documents.
  • Coordinate purchasing with the relevant departments at HQ in Germany and China.
  • Route qualified sales opportunities to the appropriate sales rep for further development and closure.
  • Communicate and interact consistently with customers, sales team, management, and coworkers from HQ and China.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • General office management as needed.

Skills & Abilities

  • Positive attitude and team spirit.
  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or related fields.
  • Experience with shipping incoterms and export related details.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Xero and Salesforce preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Technical aptitude is a plus.
  • Problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Deadline‑driven and detail‑oriented.
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Education / Experience

  • Degree is preferred; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 2–5 years of work experience.
