Job Description
We are looking for a Processing Services Claims Specialist to manage our claims handling processes and requirements across Singapore Work Injury Compensation. In this role you will support the Liberty Claims teams in the Singapore region. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant training will be provided depending on background.
The role : Claims handling responsibilities include recommending / establishing adequate reserves for indemnity (and in some instances, expense and recovery claims), raising appropriate payments, managing defined categories of losses and recoveries in accordance with modified claims handling requirements, determining policy coverage, and authorising payments within internal processes and the scope of authority.
Team relationships : Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and prioritize work to ensure daily workflows are maintained and KPI / SLA targets are met.
Team contribution : Abide by training guides and contribute to a strong team culture with ongoing training, company events and celebrations.
Compliance : comply with all legal, statutory and corporate affairs requirements.
About You
Qualifications (tertiary, certificate, diploma) in Insurance, Business or related discipline are highly desirable. A Certification in General Insurance issued by SCI is preferable. Prior experience in handling general insurance claims is desirable but not required. Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are required for liaising with English-speaking stakeholders. High attention to detail, quality-focused communication and accuracy are essential. You should be engaged in continual process improvements and be flexible with changes to work arrangements as needed. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with stakeholders, and be a team player who enjoys a rewarding and collaborative work environment.
