Penerangan pekerjaanDiploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ procurement / supply chain experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role. Strong in vendor negotiation, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing. Leadership skills with proven team management experience. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of import / export is an added advantage. Willing to travel occasionally for supplier visits. 5.5-day workweek with alternate Saturdays off. Willing to work in Tebrau.
Assistant Purchasing Manager (Manufacturing | Tebrau)
We are looking for a strategic and experienced Assistant Purchasing Manager to lead and support our procurement team in a plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the purchasing team to achieve business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Drive cost savings through strategic sourcing and vendor management.
- Oversee purchasing policies, SOPs, and compliance.
- Monitor industry trends, risks, and ensure reliable supply.
- Manage procurement reports, budgets, and cost analysis.
