Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Purchaser, located in Selangor, Malaysia. The Construction Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing and procuring construction materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and managing inventory. The role also involves maintaining records of purchases, evaluating the performance of suppliers, and ensuring compliance with the company's procurement policies and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 - 3 years' of experience as a construction purchaser
• Experience in sourcing and procuring construction materials and equipment
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Ability to manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Familiarity with procurement policies and budget management
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial
