A Brief Overview

The Head of Data Analytics & Administration will lead the Southeast Asia Data Administration team, driving excellence in data strategy, governance and analytics. This position ensures accurate and timely delivery of operational metrics and reporting data, strengthens internal controls, and enhances infrastructure and reporting processes. The position also fosters trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, enabling impactful business / financial / valuation decision-making.

What You Will Do

• Core Operations Execute and deliver operations strategy with a focus on Data Administration; Deliver operational goals and align initiatives with broader strategy; Ensure controls and key risk metrics (e.g., ARMC KRIs) are met; Drive continuous process improvements, streamline workflows, harness technology and tools to optimize efficiencies thus managing time, effort and cost base in running operations.
• Analytics & Risk Monitoring Perform data administration and analytics to support continuous risk monitoring and assessments; Monitor operational processes to ensure appropriate risk profiles are captured and reported; Promote a risk-aware culture across the Operations team.
• Data Management & Governance Ensure data accuracy for accounting records, valuation systems, regulatory returns, and other reporting needs; Lead data governance processes including assessment and remediation of data quality issues; Contribute to the development of standards, procedures, and process improvements; Lead and mentor the data management team in maintaining administration systems, procedures, and documentation; Define and document business needs as formal requirements and communicate with stakeholders to devise appropriate solutions.
• Financial Reporting Partner with SEA Finance and Valuation to ensure infrastructure and controls support accurate and timely reporting.
• Client Relations & Engagement Build and maintain relationships with key clients and business partners to support delivery of operational KPIs; Build and maintain networks with external partners, legal advisors, and industry bodies to stay abreast of emerging trends and evolving challenges in data management.
• Team Development and Management Develop a high-performing team of reinsurance professionals; Shape the operational culture, balancing local customs with RGA's corporate values; Encourage collaboration across SEA Operations, KL Office, and global functions. Ensure ongoing training, coaching, and professional development for team members, supervise the Data Analytics & Administration team, and establish succession plans to support organizational growth.
