Section Head, Data Analysis

JOB PURPOSE

Drive data analytics strategy to create opportunities for growth and improvements as well as ensuring long term business sustainability. Develop data-backed business strategies and support the business teams in executing the strategies.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Achieve cost savings by automating dashboard and reports in-house. Reduce reliance on vendor for reports automation which incur project / enhancement costs
• Identify income streams or business opportunities by developing business strategies through application of data analytics.
• Liaise with business users and stakeholders to identify business problems and develop solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Work alongside senior leaders across retail, corporate and support divisions to identify opportunities to apply data and advanced analytics to support critical business decision.
• Providing and presenting strategic data-driven recommendations across channels to improve business decision-making.
• Active engagement and collaboration with NGOs, Societies and Industry players to promote Bank's products and services to the community involved in agricultural activities.
• Ensure emphasis of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) by large corporates is aligned with applicable government agencies and are focused on revitalizing the agricultural sector.
• Support Head of Department in developing data warehouse and BI technology vision, roadmaps, and blueprints.
• Lead ad-hoc cross functional data analytics project, as and when required.
• Manage a team of data analyst and data engineers in delivering quality, accurate and timely periodic and ad-hoc management reports, dashboards, and analysis.
• Lead analytics framework development and strengthen the use of analytics across the organization, plan, execute and manage Analytics and Business Intelligence projects.
• Analyse large and complex sets of data / information and drive fact-based decision making at all levels.
• Exercise sound judgement while analysing and interpreting data to ensure a high level of data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in reporting
• Ensure discipline in documentation of assumptions, observations, and findings.
• Prepare and present findings to senior management in a logical, concise, and articulate manner.
• Develop and establish key metrics for business performance evaluation.
• Guide and coach the team on analytic capability and technical skills
• Attend to ad-hoc request from management
