Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all costing activities related to manufacturing processes only.
- Manage and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 for cost tracking, variance analysis and reporting.
- Understand costing models; perform cost analysis and ensure accurate cost allocation across manufacturing processes.
- Apply principles of cost accounting (standard cost, costing sheets, trade agreements) and management accounting (budgeting, variance analysis, margin tracking).
- Update standard costs in D365 product master (Raw Material and Packing Material) and analyse Actual vs. Standard Cost variances.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and regulatory bodies on costing‑related matters, in addition to internal reporting.
- Understand product modelling workflows in D365 (e.g., BOM, configuration models) to support costing accuracy.
- Participate in ERP upgrades, system testing and user training for Microsoft Dynamics 365 to ensure optimal system performance and user adoption.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all costing activities.
- Generate reports on costing KPIs, margin performance and profitability to support strategic decisions.
- Perform month‑end closing procedures and ensure timely submission of reports, including Inventory / COGS GL reconciliation.
- Assist in periodical forecasts and budget / business plan preparation.
- Perform ad‑hoc costing analysis as requested by management.
- Responsible for half‑year and full‑year inventory counts, ensuring proper and timely execution.
- Support Fixed Asset management including timely capitalization and asset counts.
- Conduct periodic analysis of potential write‑off risks for stock and fixed assets.
- In charge of inventory closing and adjustments.
- Collaborate with finance, production and supply chain teams to align cost structures with business goals.
- Provide insights to the Operations Team for cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Challenge existing costing practices and participate in process improvement initiatives, supporting continuous improvement in cost management.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or a professional Accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent preferred).2–4 years of working experience in costing in a manufacturing company.Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Excel.Familiarity with cost accounting methods (standard cost, weighted average) and management accounting practices.Basic understanding of product modelling concepts (BOM, configuration rules).Preferred Attributes
