Responsibilities :
A Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet certain standards of quality. Here are some of the key responsibilities :
- Quality Control Systems : Establishing and maintaining quality control systems to ensure products meet required specifications .
- Testing and Inspection : Implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment .
- Data Analysis : Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to prepare reports on quality performance .
- Compliance : Ensuring that processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements .
- Problem-Solving : Identifying defects, determining their causes, and providing solutions to prevent recurrence .
- Documentation : Creating and maintaining quality documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and inspection reports .
- Continuous Improvement : Proactively recommending and implementing improvements to enhance product durability and performance .
Quality Engineers often work closely with various departments, such as production, engineering, and support, to ensure a collaborative approach to quality management
Qualifications :
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering - Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.2 to 4 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated industry.Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D, DMAIC).Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).Proficient in using quality software tools and performing data analysis (e.g., Minitab, Power BI, Excel).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.Careers Privacy Statement
