Position Overview :
iFloss Dental Sdn Bhd, a proud member of the esteemed Smileworld Dental Group, is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist Manager to elevate our digital presence in Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for a passionate professional to build a trustworthy and engaging online community, educating the public on the importance of oral health and showcasing the modern, patient-centric care we provide.
This is a key role that blends hands-on content creation with high-level strategy. You will be responsible for developing and executing a social media plan that builds our brand, fosters patient trust, and ultimately drives appointment bookings. Key Responsibilities :
Strategy & Planning :
- Develop and manage a comprehensive social media strategy for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Business Profile, aligned with our clinic's growth objectives and focused on building significant patient mindshare.
- Define and track KPIs focused on patient engagement, follower growth, website traffic, and appointment inquiries.
- Analyze competitor activities and identify emerging trends in dental and healthcare marketing to keep our strategy fresh and effective.
Content Creation & Management :
Plan and manage a content calendar featuring a strategic mix of educational, promotional, entertainment, and brand-building content.Create and curate high-quality, platform-native content, including :Educational posts and videos on dental procedures, oral hygiene, expert POVs (Point of View), and myth-busting.
Tasteful and inspiring "before-and-after" smile transformations (with full patient consent).Engaging behind-the-scenes looks at our clinic, technology, and friendly team of dentists and staff.Authentic patient testimonials and reviews.Clear promotions for services like teeth whitening, Invisalign, implants, and check-ups.Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure all content is medically accurate, professional, and easy for patients to understand.Community Management & Engagement :
Act as the primary voice and community manager for the Smileworld Dental Group brand online, responding to comments and messages with empathy, professionalism, and timeliness.Engage with potential patients, answering non-clinical questions and guiding them to book consultations.Handle all patient interactions with strict adherence to confidentiality and patient privacy (PDPA) guidelines.Build relationships with local community partners, wellness influencers, and content creators.Paid Media & Collaboration :
Design, execute, and optimize targeted paid advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook / Instagram) to reach potential patients in specific geographic areas.Manage ad budgets effectively to maximize lead generation and return on investment (ROI).Identify and collaborate with content creators for User-Generated Content (UGC) campaigns to build authenticity and social proof.Analytics & Reporting :
Track and analyze the performance of all social media channels and campaigns.Provide monthly reports to leadership with actionable insights and strategic recommendations for improvement.Qualifications & Skills :
Required :
4-6+ years of professional experience in social media marketing, with a strong portfolio of successfully managed accounts and campaigns.In-depth, hands-on knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their current best practices.Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).Proven experience planning and executing paid social advertising campaigns.Exceptional copywriting and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.Preferred :
Experience in healthcare, wellness, aesthetic, or cosmetic industry marketing is a significant advantage.Proven track record of growing a brand's social media channel to over 100,000 followers on at least one major platform.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) and basic video editing for creating Reels / Shorts.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, bahasa Malaysia, or Mandarin.
