Overview

MISC Group is seeking a Lead Auditor to plan and manage Condition Survey / Audit assignments as per the annual Audit Plan and budget, providing assurance on the effectiveness of controls, risks and governance framework involving MISC’s ships & floaters and their operational management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the audit assignments as per the annual Audit Plan and budget, including conducting the audits, preparation of audit reports, management reports (e.g. Board Audit Committee, Management Audit Committee, AET Ship Management Board, AET Risk Management Committee, FVSB EXCO & Board, etc.), and etc.
• Monitor and follow-up on corrective actions or improvements with auditees to mitigate risks or enhance internal controls and management systems related to the assigned focus audit area.
• Identify and update audit reports, audit tools / templates, standards, technical and industry developments and compliance governance / regulations (e.g. IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ISM, ISPS, DOSH regulations) related to the assigned focus audit area to ensure relevance and effectiveness of service deliverables.
• Contribute improvement recommendations to enhance the Audit & Assurance framework, policies and procedures.
