Senior / Sales Engineer

This position supports the machine and parts sales operations of Terex Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The role requires the candidate to drive and lead sales performance by engaging directly with customers through site visits, applying product and application knowledge, and conducting telemarketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the monthly Parts Sales Target for Terex MP Malaysia.
• Jointly responsible with the Sales Director for achieving the monthly Machine Sales Target.
• Respond to customer enquiries via email, fax and telephone in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare and issue quotations promptly and accurately.
• Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote Terex machines, parts and services.
• Conduct cold calls to quarry companies to introduce Terex equipment, supported by proper documentation.
• Coordinate with store personnel and the engineering department to verify part numbers and stock availability.
• Liaise with Supply Chain and Production departments to confirm pricing and availability of parts, and provide timely updates to customers.
• Prepare and participate in weekly CBE (Current Best Estimate) meetings, including submission of missed order reports.
• Monitor customer orders to ensure timely delivery and generate related follow-up reports.
• Support planning, coordination and participation in customer events and sales conferences.
• Travel within Malaysia and occasionally within the Southeast Asia region as required.
• Actively promote and adhere to safety standards in the workplace.
