Overview We are seeking a
Senior Production Supervisor
to lead and manage a team of production staff in our engineering and machinery manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal production performance, quality output, and compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in industrial production, and is able to communicate effectively in a multilingual environment.
Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred
to support communication with the team and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage daily production operations across multiple teams or departments
Plan manpower allocation, shift schedules, and resource distribution to meet production targets
Monitor production KPIs, troubleshoot process issues, and implement corrective actions
Lead and coach production staff, junior supervisors, and team leaders
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen) to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Review production reports, analyze variances, and recommend operational improvements
Support new product introductions and process validations
Conduct performance appraisals and contribute to workforce development
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Strong background in engineering, machinery manufacturing, or metal / mould fabrication
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCount system
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Language :
Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred; English is required
