We are seeking a dynamic A4 Chargeman to join our team. Your duties include but not limited to the following :
M & E Technician (A4 Chargeman) Park
M&E Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the building air conditioning and mechanical ventilation system, lift & escalator, electrical installation, and monitoring on low voltage facilities equipment performance. Your duties and responsibilities include but not limited to :
To manage LV electrical distribution system, standby generators, and carry out the periodic checking and preventive maintenance task on all LV electrical distribution systems.
To report irregularity on LV installation to MEP Manager.
Liaise with utilities providers such as TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues.
Assist supervising engineer to perform regular check on electrical component base on Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulation.
Assign task / workorder for maintenance technicians using property management system and close the task / workorder in a timely manner.
Operational lead for maintenance Technicians to meet all key performance indicators as defined.
Assist the MEP Manager in ensuring that all MEP equipment maintenance are carried out as per schedule and that all system are in good condition.
Lead emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of building system equipment, and close monitoring on building system performance.
Facilitate Centre activities such as annual shutdown, testing etc.
Ensure that the staff and all contractors carry out safe work practices during maintenance, adhoc or Fit-Out works.
Ensure that any staff initiatives on IIF and / or Sustainability and others are brought to the attention of the management.
Carry out inspection on tenants’ fit-out and report any unsafe practices and / or any incompliance to the MEP Manager and assist other departments in Centre’s events.
Attend to and feedback / complaints from the occupant (i.e. electrical power supply failure etc.) in a timely manner.
Prepare reports of systems faults and / or trouble shoot finding for improvement works or insurance purposes.
Undertakes any additional / ad-hoc duties assigned by MEP Manager as and when required.
Requirements
A4 Chargeman Certificate by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
2 to 3 years of hands-on working experience as A4 Chargeman in property management and experience in shopping mall management or relevant industry experience.
Familiar with Safety & Health / JKKP / DOE / ST Law and Regulation.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
Computer literate.
Good interpersonal skills and able to build good working relationships at all levels.
Proactive, independent, team player, organised, work under pressure and to meet deadline in multi-tasking environment.
Must be able to response to emergency call duty and special task arrangement during off day / after working hours.
Must be able to work rotating shift 24x7 (based on their roster), weekends and Public Holidays.
