Role Summary
This role is responsible for the technical oversight and daily operational management of workplace virtualization technologies under the Global End User Services (EUS) function. The position plays a key role in ensuring the delivery, adoption, and compliance of modern desktop virtualization solutions across global end markets. It also ensures that all activities adhere to IT governance, security standards, and global service policies.
Key Objectives & Impact
- Provide subject matter expertise and operational support for Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Microsoft Windows 365 (Cloud PC).
- Manage escalations, incidents, and performance issues within the region, acting as the regional technical point of contact.
- Ensure that services meet business needs, comply with IT standards, and evolve with technological advancements.
- Support technology change initiatives, service improvements, and vendor engagements across global markets.

Oversee day-to-day management of :
Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)Microsoft Windows 365 and Cloud PC environmentVirtual desktop image releasesSecurity, compliance, and vulnerability managementGeneral Modern Workplace technologiesAct as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for technical issues and escalations related to workplace virtualization technologies in the region.Manage service delivery in collaboration with third-party providers and ensure SLA compliance.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on technical change initiatives, solution deployments, and technology upgrades.Conduct service reviews and drive continuous improvement plans for performance, compliance, and user experience.Facilitate solution integration to support seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.Ensure workplace services align with global IT architecture and security standards.Essential Experience & Skills
Experience Required :
Strong experience in global enterprise environments leveraging both in-sourced and out-sourced IT service models.Proven track record in technology transformation, migration, change delivery, and IT operations.Technical / Functional Skills :In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with :
Citrix VDI platformsMicrosoft Windows 365 and Cloud PCVirtual desktop image managementSecurity, patching, and compliance for virtual desktop environmentsModern Workplace technologies and integrationExcellent vendor management, particularly with Microsoft and Citrix service partners.Familiarity with solution integration and service architecture.Leadership & Communication :Demonstrated leadership in technical service delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
