Assistant Vice President, Sales and Marketing

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Vice President (AVP), Sales & Marketing to lead and expand our business development efforts within the Public Sector market . The AVP will be responsible for developing strategic sales initiatives, driving government-related projects, building relationships with key decision-makers, and ensuring sustainable revenue growth. This is a full-time on-site role located in Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies and go-to-market plans focused on the Malaysian Public Sector.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with ministries, government agencies, GLCs, and statutory bodies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders , procurement divisions, and policy influencers.
• Lead proposal development, tender submissions, and negotiations in compliance with government procurement guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Technical) to design solutions that meet client requirements.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and government initiatives to align business opportunities.
• Drive sales pipeline management , revenue forecasting, and achievement of quarterly / annual targets.
• Represent the company at government events, trade shows, and networking functions.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the sales & marketing team.
