About the Job : In this position, you will be part of the expanding tech team and take responsibility for backend development, primarily with web applications. This is a senior role where you will also contribute in mentoring juniors, and shape the technical direction of the team.

Job Responsibilities :

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend systems using Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Lead API design and implementation discussions, ensuring strong authentication and authorization frameworks.
• Define, document, and enforce backend engineering standards and best practices.
• Implement and uphold API and data security best practices, including secure data handling, encryption, and protection against common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS).
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and performance.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, conducting code reviews and providing technical support and skill development.
