Overview

The Position : Procurement Specialist - Meetings, Travel, Cards

Location : Malaysia

Job Type : Full-Time

Department : Procurement

Reports To : Travel, Meetings, Cards and Fleet (TMCF) Procurement Lead

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for meetings and travel
Supervising supplier service delivery and serving as the escalation contact for market stakeholders
Managing suppliers’ performance
Analyzing spending patterns, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to optimize expenditure
Keeping contracts expirations under control and proactively planning for renewal and / or RFPs
Collecting business requirements for RFPs purposes
Implementing new tools and policy changes
Conducting data analysis to track and report on procurement and services delivery metrics, performance, and trends for continuous improvement

Required Education, Experience And Skills

At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a demonstrated record of customer focus, service-oriented mindset, supplier management and analytics management in Pharmaceutical MNCs

Fluent in English

Specific experience in Meetings and Travel Operations

Procurement, Suppliers Management and Analytics background

Excellent verbal / written communication, collaboration, negotiation, influencing and decision-making skills

Demonstrated leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science or equivalent

Ability to develop, articulate, and build support around a long-term vision and implement milestones needed to drive realization of that vision

A positive, engaging disposition with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure, and follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision
