Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the SST Act, including proper invoicing, record-keeping, exemption claims, and drawback processes
- Prepare and submit SST-02 returns in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile SST payable accounts and maintain accurate supporting schedules
- Liaise with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) on SST matters and assist with audits or reviews
- Assist with other tax compliance matters, including : Corporate Tax Returns, E-Invoicing & Withholding Tax (WHT)
- Collaborate with external tax agents, Customs, and the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) on all tax-related matters
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and compliance requirements
- Ensure all tax documentation and records are properly filed and audit-ready
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field1–3 years of experience in tax or accounting, with a focus on SSTSound knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations, including SST, WHT, and Income TaxAbility to work independently, manage tasks effectively, and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills in both English and Bahasa MalaysiaBe careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
