The Quality Manager leads the DMI Quality Team ensuring that all manufactured products meet DMI internal quality yield and those required by customers. This position oversees quality systems, in process quality control, final quality assurance, supplier quality, and patient customer complaint management.
The Quality Manager needs to drive continuous quality improvement across the factory to enhance overall quality performance and ensure compliance to customers requirements.
Quality Systems (QMS) & Compliance
- Maintain and enhance the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with : VDA 6.3 – Process Audit Standard (automotive industry); IATF 16949 – Automotive QMS; AS9100 – Aerospace QMS; ISO 9001 – General Quality Management Systems; ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems; ISO 13485 – Medical Devices Quality Management Systems; ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems; Ecovadis – Sustainability & CSR Rating; and other customer-specific standards.
- Develop, review, and update quality policies, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Support the preparation of quality documentation including Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and MSA.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
- Participate in internal audits, supplier evaluations, customer audits, and certification audits.
- Manage supplier quality performance and incoming material inspections.
- Ensure effective handling of customer complaints and corrective actions.
- Conduct regular in process quality audits.
- Responsibility will cover the full spectrum of Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance functions.
- Training Quality Team to promote growth within DMI.
- Responsible for preparation of internal documents before customer onsite audits.
- Managing corporate quality goals, such as internal manufacturing quality yields in each process.
- Improve internal quality to reduce customer returns and implement 8D corrected actions in manufacturing analysis.
Team Development & Training
Ensure QA staff are trained in quality tools, systems, and standards.Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability across all departments.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.Minimum 8–10 years of Quality assurance work experience as Quality Manager. Mandatory 5 years experience in PCB manufacturing industries.Familiar with quality tools such as SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA, 8D, PPAP.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Must be able to read and write in Chinese.Good command of Mandarin, English and Malay.#J-18808-Ljbffr
