The Finance Manager for Accounting & Financial Reporting is responsible for coordinating, managing and preparing monthly financial / statutory reports for Management, BNM and Bursa within the Accounting & Financial Reporting team. This role reports to the Head of Accounting & Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Coordinate, manage and support monthly consolidation close activities for timeliness, accuracy and completeness
• Preparation of quarterly statutory reports for announcement to Bursa Malaysia
• Prepare and compile financial data and analysis for submission to Bank Negara Malaysia
• Perform annual review and maintain financial reporting standard operating procedures, policies and guidelines and ensure proper implementation of internal control
• Participate in the preparation of the Bank’s Annual Report
• Provide commentaries / analysis of financial performance and variances for monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by management, including restructuring, other strategic initiatives, MFRS related initiatives, etc.
• Assist to review overseas entities financial reports and to provide the necessary regional support
• Ensure compliance with applicable Financial Reporting Standards, company policies and related statutory / tax requirements
