Logistics Executive

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound movements, warehousing, and order fulfillment.
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient, cost-effective transportation and overall logistics operations.
• Provide guidance and direction to logistics team members and manage the logistics department's activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and transportation companies.
• Negotiate with carriers and vendors for competitive rates and services.
• Manage inventory levels, implement effective control measures, and balance stock to meet demand without excess costs or stockouts.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, accuracy, and fulfillment of orders.
• Drive continuous improvement in logistics operations, focusing on operational efficiency, cost control, and service level excellence.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Review and verify all shipping charges and customs clearance duties.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports for management and other stakeholders.
