Position Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across our systems and supporting our finance and accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
- Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in line with sales orders, delivery notes, and contracts.
- Verify billing details such as quantities, prices, discounts, and tax calculations before invoice issuance.
- Ensure all invoices comply with company policies, tax regulations, and customer requirements.
- Maintain proper records of invoices issued and update accounting systems accordingly.
- Follow up with relevant departments (e.g., Sales, Logistics, Operations) to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
- Coordinate with customers to clarify billing queries and ensure timely acceptance of invoices and statements.
- Support Finance in tracking accounts receivable and assisting with collection follow-ups.
- Review and verify invoices, receipts, and transaction records.
- Generate reports on invoicing status and outstanding billing issues for management review.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records, ensure confidentiality and proper filing of financial documentation.
- Collaborate with finance team to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
Requirements
Diploma / Certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience in invoicing, billing, or accounting support role is preferred.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting / ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, D365).Good organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.Effective communication skills to liaise with internal departments and external customers.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Your application will include the following questions :
