Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Work Scheduler / Project Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure that all activities are executed according to plan, within budget, and on time. This role requires close coordination with the project team, consultants, and contractors to support the successful delivery of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, manage, and update the project work schedule in line with project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and propose corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align schedules with site activities.
- Prepare progress reports, scheduling forecasts, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure project schedules comply with JKR standards and requirements.
- Support management in planning, tracking, and decision-making processes.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities to update progress and resolve scheduling issues.
Requirements :
Degree or Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering.Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in JKR projects.Strong knowledge of project scheduling principles, construction sequences, and resource planning.Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft Project or other project management software.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Able to work independently and willing to travel as required.Working days : 6 days per week.
