Strong knowledge of conveyancing, property law, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., Housing Development Act, National Land Code, Strata Management Act). Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills. Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic legal research tools.

As part of our growth, we are seeking a dedicated Legal Officer to join our team and support all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters related to our development projects. To succeed in this role, you must be agile, independent, a good team-player with positive attitude to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, sale and purchase agreements (SPAs), tenancy agreements, and other legal documents.
- Assist in legal due diligence for land acquisitions, joint ventures, and development projects.
- Liaise with lawyers, local councils, and regulatory bodies on land matters, strata titles, and compliance approvals.
- Monitor project-related legal timelines such as perfection of transfer, financing documentation, and regulatory submissions.
- Provide legal advice to internal departments including Sales, Project, and Finance teams.
- Maintain legal files, contract registers, and ensure proper documentation and filing of all legal correspondences.
- Support the company secretarial team with board resolutions, statutory filings, and compliance with SSM requirements.
