JOB DESCRIPTION : ASSISTANT MANAGER (SALES & MARKETING)
Objective of the Role : To assist the management in increasing café sales and brand visibility through creative marketing, customer engagement, and consistent promotion strategies.
Responsibilities
Sales & Promotion
Plan and execute monthly sales and marketing campaigns to increase customer traffic and sales.
Create and monitor seasonal or combo promotions (e.g. waffle + ice cream, coffee + dessert deals).
Encourage upselling by training outlet staff to promote add-ons such as toppings, drinks, and Pal Litt ice cream products.
Marketing & Branding
Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Business).
Produce and schedule engaging content, photos, and short videos to attract both locals and tourists.
Build collaboration with local influencers or nearby businesses for cross-promotion.
Maintain consistent brand image and tone across all promotional materials.
Customer Relations
Monitor customer satisfaction and respond to online feedback or reviews.
Ensure all customers receive friendly, consistent service in line with MyTee Café’s values.
Business Development
Identify opportunities to introduce new products or promotions to boost revenue.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
Suggest improvements to pricing, packaging, and presentation based on market trends.
Team Coordination
Coordinate with outlet supervisors and staff to ensure smooth implementation of campaigns.
Conduct short sales briefings and on-the-job training for new staff.
Performance Targets (KPI)
Monthly sales growth target (Cenang & Pal Litt outlets).
Minimum two marketing campaigns per month.
10% monthly increase in social media engagement or followers.
Customer satisfaction rating of 4.5★ or higher on Google / online reviews.
Compensation Structure
Basic Salary : RM2,000 per month
Performance Commission :
Cenang Outlet :
Average monthly sales : RM53,000
For every RM2,500 increase , staff will receive RM250 commission .
If sales increase by RM5,000 or more , the maximum commission is RM500 for that month.
Pal Litt Outlet :
Average monthly sales : RM14,000
If sales increase to RM16,000 , staff will receive RM150 commission .
If sales reach RM18,000–RM20,000 , staff will receive a maximum commission of RM300 for that month.
Personal Qualities
Creative, proactive, and results-driven.
Good communication skills in Malay & English.
Passionate about café culture, marketing, and customer experience.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
