Job Responsibilities :

  • To be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen department; both hot and cold kitchen, including kitchen crew management, cleaning, food preparation, cooking, purchasing, food safety compliance, kitchen Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance, serving, etc.
  • To ensure that all food preparations and cooking procedures complies with food quality specifications and standards, established recipes, food preparation checklist and presentation standards.
  • To manage food and product ordering by keeping records, minimize wastage and managing the budget.
  • To ensure that the kitchen area maintains proper hygiene standards and orderliness.
  • To order and manage food inventory in terms of budget, quality and quantity.
  • To manage, maintain and repair all kitchen tools and equipment.
  • To perform other duties and tasks as directed by the Superior, as and when required.

Job Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least Primary / Secondary School Certificate, Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in food quality, waste control, kitchen safety & regulation, menu planning, food costing, etc.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working location : Ipoh city area.
