This is a remote position. Design and architect next-generation container-based automation solutions on public cloud infrastructure. Define common development processes, platform, and tools for automation solutions. Serve as a systems and automation evangelist, providing thought leadership, participating in conferences, and authoring white papers. Provide technical leadership and project guidance in deployment and monitoring automation technologies. Act as a technical liaison between clients, service engineering teams, and operations. Participate in customer workshops and present proposed solutions for migrating to container-based public cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure). Advise business and technology leadership on translating infrastructure and automation requirements into executable solutions. Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices with containers orchestrated using Kubernetes. Analyze emerging concepts in DevOps and Infrastructure Automation, including Enterprise Security. Lead initiatives to evangelize Kubernetes and Docker-based automation solutions, including educating client teams, promoting reference architectures, estimating, costing, and implementation. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in an enterprise environment, including client-facing and delivery management roles in Linux / Java environments. Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture patterns based on Java. Experience with Messaging / Streaming / Caching technologies and Database Systems. Hands-on experience with immutable infrastructure and infrastructure as code tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or similar. Proficiency in DevOps tools and frameworks such as SVN, GIT, ANT, Maven, Sonar, Jenkins. Practical knowledge of AWS ECS, Docker, and Kubernetes (a plus). Understanding of SaaS / IaaS / PaaS models and migration experience from legacy infrastructure to cloud. Knowledge of performance tuning, application analysis, and optimization, including NoSQL data stores like Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB (a plus). Experience with Infrastructure & Application Security, consulting, and advisory roles (a plus). Master’s degree and AWS / RedHat certifications are highly desirable.
