Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting : Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified leads; follow up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, and referrals; present company products / solutions (e.g., ERP, SaaS, IT solutions) to prospects via phone, email, or online demos; understand customer business challenges and position solutions that align with their needs; collaborate with field sales / business development managers for meetings, proposals, and deal closures.
  • Account Management : Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business; support existing accounts with product knowledge, renewal discussions, and upselling opportunities; provide timely responses to customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Market Feedback : Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (leads, qualified opportunities, revenue); update CRM with accurate sales activities and pipeline status; provide feedback on market trends, customer pain points, and competitor activities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, or business development (B2B preferred).
  • Familiar with Malaysia market dynamics (SMEs, corporates, government tenders, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and pitch IT / ERP / SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP, Microsoft etc), CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent).
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Comfortable engaging with C-level executives (CFOs, CIOs, Directors) via phone / online meetings.
  • Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with ERP (SAP, Microsoft etc).
  • Understanding of Malaysia’s SME landscape, manufacturing, trading, or services industries.
  • Familiarity with government procurement (tenders, RFIs, RFQs) processes.
