QAQC Engineer

Prepare, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) .

Conduct site inspections, witness tests, and verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and QLASSIC requirements.

Review and verify all incoming materials, equipment, and works meet approved specifications.

Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective / Preventive Actions (CAPA) , including root cause analysis.

Maintain accurate quality records, calibration certificates, and test reports.

Prepare weekly / monthly quality reports, defect lists, and audit compliance reports.

Support internal and external audits (ISO, client, CIDB).

Promote continuous improvement, sustainability, and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CIDB QLASSIC .

Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure high quality project delivery.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.

CIDB Green / Yellow Card (mandatory).

Minimum 5 years’ experience in QAQC or site engineering within the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS, QLASSIC standards, NCR / CAPA processes, and site inspections .

Experience in supplier / subcontractor audits and construction QAQC practices.

Familiarity with OSHA 1994, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 requirements.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and digital QAQC tools (BIM, Procore, Aconex) .

Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia).

Willing to work on-site, including extended hours or weekends when required.
