Objective
The Senior Executive, Supply Chain & Sourcing (Food Squad) plays a key role in ensuring that every food product developed by the team can be efficiently sourced, produced, and scaled across regions.You will be responsible for identifying the right suppliers, managing costs and lead times, ensuring quality compliance, and coordinating supply readiness ahead of each product launch. Working closely with Category Owners, Operations, and QA, you’ll help turn product innovation into commercial reality — balancing quality, cost, and speed to market.
Position Responsibilities
1.Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for food ingredients, semi-finished goods, and packaging materials.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements that align with business cost targets.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and innovation support.
- Partner with QA and R&D to assess supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
2.Supply Chain Readiness
Coordinate end-to-end supply readiness for new food launches — from sample procurement to mass rollout.Track and ensure on-time delivery of materials, components, and finished goods for launch readiness.Work closely with Operations and Warehouse teams to forecast demand and secure adequate supply.Support logistics and stock allocation planning for new product introductions (NPI).3.Cost & Efficiency Optimization
Monitor ingredient and packaging cost trends; propose cost improvement or alternative sourcing options.Consolidate supplier base where possible to improve economies of scale.Maintain cost benchmarking and sourcing databases for continuous improvement.Support SKU rationalization efforts by analyzing sourcing complexity and operational fit.4.Cross-functional Collaboration
