Multimedia Designer

The Multimedia Designer role is a key creative position within the Marketing department of Ultradent's Asia-Pacific team based in the Kuala Lumpur / Petaling Jaya / Puchong area. The successful candidate will be responsible for adapting, designing, and producing a wide range of engaging multimedia content to support Ultradent Marketing and Communication strategies across various platforms.

This role requires a strong understanding of visual communication principles, proficiency in industry-standard design software, and the ability to translate complex information into visually appealing and easily understandable formats.

The Multimedia Designer will collaborate closely with marketing managers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that all multimedia materials align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. This is a hybrid role requiring the individual to work from our office location, fostering collaboration and team interaction.

Responsibilities :

Conceptualization and Design : Develop creative concepts and design visually compelling multimedia content, including but not limited to :

• Animations and motion graphics
• Infographics and data visualizations
• Social media graphics and short-form video content (META Reels, Stories, YouTube shorts)
• Website visuals and interactive elements
• Digital advertisements (banner ads, social media ads)
• Presentation templates and visual aids

Production and Execution : Bring design concepts to life through skillful execution using relevant software and techniques, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to deadlines.

Brand Consistency : Maintain and enforce Ultradent's brand guidelines across all multimedia materials, ensuring a consistent and professional visual identity.

Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with marketing team members, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide creative input, and ensure alignment on objectives and timelines.

Project Management : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and communicating progress effectively.

Staying Updated : Keep abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and software updates to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of multimedia content.

File Management and Organization : Maintain organized digital asset libraries and project files for easy access and future use.

Adaptability : Be flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and feedback.

Requirements :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience as a Multimedia Designer or similar role. Experience in the healthcare or dental industry is a plus but not mandatory.

Software Proficiency : Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including :

Equivalent Software Proficiency : Demonstrated proficiency in alternative industry-standard multimedia design software may be considered (please specify in application).

Portfolio : A strong online portfolio showcasing a diverse range of multimedia design projects, including video production, motion graphics, and digital design.

Visual Communication Skills : Excellent understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, composition, and branding principles.

Video Production Skills : Solid understanding of video production workflows, editing, audio mixing, and exporting for various platforms.

Motion Graphics Skills : Ability to create engaging and informative animations and motion graphics.

Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.

Collaboration Skills : Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Organizational Skills : Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Proactive and Self-Motivated : Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Location Requirement : Must be able to commute to the office located in the Kuala Lumpur / Petaling Jaya / Puchong area.

Adaptability : Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design trends.
