Tax associate

We are seeking a talented Tax Associate to join our team at Liang & Associates. As a full-time Tax Associate, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax support and compliance services to our diverse client base. This role is based on Penang Island, Penang.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the senior in preparing tax computation and filing of tax returns for individual and corporate clients;
• Monitor and administer routine tax compliance requirements (e.g., tax estimates (CP204), revision of tax (CP204A) and provisional tax computation);
• Handle all tax correspondence matters including Desk audit, PCB Audit, Tax Audit;
• Collaborate with the tax team to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance for our clients.
• Provide administrative support, such as document management and client communication.
• Participate in tax planning and advisory activities to support our clients' financial objectives.
