The Sponsorship Manager drives revenue growth and brand partnerships by identifying, securing, and managing sponsorships that align with our events and corporate objectives. This role blends strategic sales, relationship management, and meticulous project delivery to ensure sponsors receive maximum value and return on investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation : Proactively seek out and generate leads for sponsorship opportunities aligned with our events.
- Compelling Sponsorship Proposals : Develop compelling, customized sponsorship packages that showcase the value and visibility sponsors gain from association with our events.
- Negotiation and Closure : Lead negotiations with potential sponsors, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet revenue targets.
- Value Added Sponsorship :
Proposals & Closure : Customise sponsorship packages that add value to events such as items for prizes and goodie bags.
Managing, Reporting and Performance Tracking :Manage sponsorship delivery pre, during and post event.
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, creative) to deliver sponsor entitlements on time and to a high standard.Oversee sponsor activation during events, ensuring visibility, brand alignment, and smooth execution.Track sponsorship deliverables and create post-event reports highlighting performance, audience reach, and ROI.Requirements
Experience : Minimum 3–5 years in sponsorship sales, business development, or partnerships, with a wide network.Proven track record of securing high-value sponsorship deals.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.Strong presentation and proposal writing abilities.Highly organized with excellent project management skills.Understanding of sponsorship trends, brand marketing, and activation strategies.Familiarity with sports, lifestyle, and large‑scale events is an advantage.Personality : Results‑driven, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑oriented environment.Performance Metrics (Scorecard)
