Van Driver cum Lorry

Safely drive and operate company vans / lorry to transport goods between locations (e.g., warehouses, stores, and customer sites).

Ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups of stock, ensuring proper handling of goods during transit.

Perform checks on deliveries to ensure accuracy (checking quantities, items, etc.) and report any discrepancies.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Maintain and ensure the cleanliness, safety, and operational condition of the van / lorry.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (oil, water, tire pressure, etc.) and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to traffic laws and ensure the safe operation of the vehicle at all times.

Requirements

Education : Minimum of SPM (or equivalent).

Experience : Previous experience as a van or lorry driver, particularly in the retail industry, is preferred.

Licenses : Possess a valid driving license (Class D or equivalent). Driving a 1-ton lorry is an advantage.

Knowledge : Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic laws.

Physical Fitness : Capable of lifting and handling heavy goods as required during deliveries.

Work Schedule : Ability to work overtime, on weekends, and public holidays if required.

Working Hours : 9am to 5pm (Monday to Friday) & 9am to 1pm (Saturday)

Location : Tower 3, Ampang

Salary Range : RM3,000 to RM3,500

Benefits : Entitled to overtime pay, work on public holidays as required.
