Responsibilities
Answer and transfer telephone calls within three rings.
Responsible for front desk functions and guest reception.
Ensure calls are transferred to the correct person and extension.
Take note of telephone messages and relay them to the respective staff.
Prepare meeting rooms and handle room bookings, prioritising top management.
Manage the telephone system and ensure it is working at all times; report faults promptly.
Attend to all clients, guests and visitors at the reception counter with proper greetings and smiles.
Coordinate with courier service companies to ensure timely pickup of documents / parcels.
Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy at all times; do not leave the desk empty and unmanned.
Ensure newspapers delivered by the vendor are counted and in order; report shortages.
Provide administrative support as and when assigned.
Perform other tasks related to instructions from Management and / or immediate Superiors from time to time.
Requirements
At least 2 years’ experience in receptionist or administration work.
Proficiency in MS Office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Good attributes, energetic, self‑motivated, analytical, resourceful, strong integrity.
Good working attitude and willingness to travel.
