Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE programs and policies tailored to high voltage substation construction activities.
• Ensure project is in compliance with relevant local and national health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as the company standards and policies.
• Provide best practice HSE solutions on day-to-day monitoring and reporting to maintain high HSE standards in the field.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with HSE standards. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and review the implementation of HSE standards at the high voltage substation construction site.
• Chair project meetings that start with a Health & Safety moment initiated through the dedicated Health, Safety, Wellbeing App.
• Ensure all employees, contractors, subcontractors and vendors on site have a requisite level of compliant safety training resulting in knowledge of high degree of hazard awareness.
• Adopt a collaborative approach to health and safety across the entire project team promoting safety accountability at all levels, including from the client and owner.
• Set a zero-tolerance health and safety culture.
• Adopt health and safety assurance processes that emphasize leading indicators to inform mitigations of risks on the project site.
• Proactively undertake site supervision of works activities to address safety concerns or identified risk activities.
