Quality Engineer

The company is a leading provider of NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) solutions that align with trends in lightweighting and environmental sustainability in the automotive industry.

As a core supplier to many major automotive manufacturers including General Motors, Volkswagen, Toyota, Honda, BYD, Great Wall, and Geely, the company has established a strong industry presence. The company has a new set up in Rawang, Selangor.

The company is now seeking a Quality Enginner and Warehouse Management, to spread-head the quality process establishment.

Job Summary

As the quality professional at the Malaysia plant, you will be fully responsible for leading and executing all quality-related activities, covering the three main modules : Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Quality Management System (QMS). You will be the quality authority on site, reporting directly to the operation manager,indirectly to Tianjin plant quality director and ensuring the plant's operations fully comply with IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for the warehouse management.

Prior experience in the automotive industry with solid hands-on quality management experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Material / mechanical / quality management with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Understanding quality management system such as ISO 9001, IATF16949 standard and project development process; understanding ISO14001 standard.
• Familiar the basic methods and tools of quality control, such as statistical process control (SPC), sampling inspection, measurement system analysis (MSA), etc
• Have the ability to analyse and solve problems, and can use 5 WHY, fishbone diagram, TBP and other quality tools to accurately find out the root cause of quality problems and propose effective solutions.
• Good communication skills, able to communicate and cooperate effectively with internal departments and external customers and suppliers.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysian. Proficient in Chinese (Putonghua) preferred.
