The maintenance officer is to assist the Maintenance Manager at all time and especially in his absence. To assist Maintenance Manager for the overall maintenacne job assignment on Electrical, Air Conditioning, Hot Water System, AV Equipmetns, Plumbing, Paint work and Carpentry of the Hotel.
Responsibilities
- Overlook the engineering department to ensure smooth operation.
- Represent the engineering department in all matters.
- Ensure all technicians carry out all necessary maintenance tasks as and when required.
- Check meter reading for chiller, LT room and Water pump room.
- Check rooftop and cooling tower.
- Servicing air condition filter monthly for all rooms.
- Servicing grease trap.
- Handling work order from other outlets.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic and Mechanical) or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience in the operation, installation and maintenance of hotel building systems with in depth technical understanding and knowledge of all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire / life safety, and control systems.In-depth working knowledge of all aspects of building systems and operations, contractual maintenance, construction and related services, and local laws and building codes pertaining to building operations and safety.Certified with Chargeman BO will be an added advantage.Required languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia.Required skills : General Maintenance Skills, Problem Solving, Technical Expertise, Time Management, Teamwork, Strong Work Ethic and equivalent.Experience in Hospitality Industries are most welcome.Benefits
