Job Description

Network Engineer in charge of technical aspect in implementing and support of IT network projects for clients. Their duties include attending project meeting, technical requirement study, project planning and technical deployment of the network infrastructures project with other project team members. Other scope including taking part in technical support of any possible network operation faults, finer tuning and maintenance.

Job Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent
• IT Network knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP / IP, Switching, Routing, VLAN, Wireless)
• IT Security knowledge (Firewall, EndPoint Security, Policy and Enforcement of Unified Threat Management)
• Ability to understand, produce network diagrams, documentation for design and planning network systems
• Strong ability with interest to pickup and learn new technology or solution through technical research, training, hand on trial, and self R&D
• Proficient in English communication with ability to speak and write effectively, capable of respond to calls and meetings with customers, team members and vendors
• Hands-on experience with configuration, monitoring and network diagnostic
• CCNA / HCIA or higher would be added advantage
• Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantage
• Result oriented with excellent process and SOP executor with right attitudes is important.
• Minimum 2-5 years working experience in IT network support position
