Executive - Finance (COE - Group Reporting)
Job Description
Job Purpose
To support the Group Finance Reporting team in the preparation, consolidation, analysis, and submission of financial statements and reports in compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements. The role provides exposure to group-level reporting, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the Group.
- Support in gathering and reviewing financial data from subsidiaries, divisions, and business units.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards (MFRS / IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules, liaising with external auditors, and supporting audit requirements.
- Participate in financial analysis, variance reviews, and preparation of management reports.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting policies, reporting standards, and system enhancements.
- Maintain proper documentation, working papers, and filing for reporting purposes.
- Support ad-hoc projects and assignments as required by management.
- Managing tight deadlines - Group reporting requires strict timelines for monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions. The role demands discipline and the ability to work under pressure.
- Handling complex data - Consolidating financial results from multiple subsidiaries / divisions involves high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adapting to Changes – Frequent updates in accounting standards (MFRS / IFRS), tax regulations, and internal reporting policies require continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Coordinating with subsidiaries, auditors, and internal teams to gather, validate, and reconcile information.
- System & Process Exposure – Learning to navigate ERP / reporting systems and improving reporting processes while ensuring data integrity.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related qualificationProfessional Qualification (in progress or completed) such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or MICPA is an added advantage.Relevant Industries
For experienced candidates : 1–2 years of working experience in finance, audit, or accounting roles (preferably in group reporting or external audit firms)For fresh graduates : relevant internship or industrial training experience in finance / accounting is beneficial.Additional Information
