Senior Equipment Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

This position is responsible to lead plant wide maintenance activities ensuring all manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to the injection molding, ultrasonic welding, RF welding, leak testing and combination of manual & automated assembly and packaging processes running at optimized, validated and regulated environment. Work with cross functional team to improve equipment and process efficiency, optimizing uptime and performance producing quality product consistently.

Responsibilities / Essential Duties

• Establish and own the maintenance procedures leading plant wide preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure all the manufacturing equipment is available, maximize up time and maintained at the correct validated condition.
• Ensure each equipment, jigs & fixtures and tooling is up to date per equipment master list and the respective drawing / schematics. In addition to assist plant wide asset maintenance management.
• Responding to corrective and breakdown maintenance in a timely manner leading technicians in troubleshooting and repairing activities. As the primary and first point of contact during emergency keeping production and other functions informed to progress.
• Ensure maintenance technician are appropriately trained and provide proper tools for the respective task and assignment. Supervising engineering and technical personnel providing hands on support to all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or computerized systems.
• Ensure work place safety compliance aligned with local and corporate HSE legislation.
• Responsible for technician resource planning and scheduling assigning task and organizing teams to make sure 24 hours coverage for production is available.
• Prepare annual repair and maintenance budget, managing spare part inventory and as the primary contact for obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings from external supplier.
• Leading and executing the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) deployment.
• Define, measure and analyze key performance indicator for critical equipment in order to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain and safe keep quality document and records promoting GMP & GDP compliance.
• Adopt and promote maintenance excellence practices e.g. 5S workplace, TPM, SMED changeover, etc.
• Participating in multi-functional CI and cost reduction projects, taking on and delivering specific actions and tasks towards operational excellence.
