Administration
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of marketing communication materials and collateral.
- Implement administrative processes for content approval, scheduling, and distribution.
- Handle budget management for marketing communication campaigns, tracking expenses and ROI.
- Monitor administrative processes related to marketing campaigns and promotional materials to enhance efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in marketing communication by incorporating feedback for enhancements.
Customer Service
Maintain a database of media contacts for press releases and media outreach.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to advertising, data privacy, and intellectual property rights.Coordinate the production and distribution of newsletters, press releases, and other communication materials.Analyze guest feedback and make adjustments to marketing strategies based on guest preferences.Create and implement guest engagement strategies through email marketing and other communication channels.Prepare and manage the marketing department's budget, including expense tracking and reporting.Coordinate marketing calendars and schedules for campaigns and events.Maintain marketing records, contracts and vendor agreements.Marketing
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication strategies to promote the hotel's services, events, and special offers.Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, websites, social media content, and email campaigns.Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and threats.Manage the hotel's social media presence and online reputation, responding to guest feedback and comments.Plan and coordinate advertising campaigns, both online and offline, within budget constraints.Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data‑driven adjustments.Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses and travel agencies to increase brand visibility and bookings.Coordinate and attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to network and promote the hotel.Utilize customer segmentation and data analysis to target specific market segments with tailored marketing messages.Operational
Work with external agencies, photographers, and designers to create high‑quality marketing collateral.Respond to all telephone calls or inquiries, ensuring information / messages are accurately received and relayed.Actively follow up sales leads.Oversee the allocation of marketing budgets and manage expenses to optimize ROI.Ensure that the hotel's branding and messaging are consistent across all touchpoints.Prepare, compile, and distribute weekly / monthly reports in a timely manner.Distribute relevant hotel information to clients when required.Maintain good relationships with the established clientele and provide all necessary assistance when required.Ensure to achieve or exceed the monthly and yearly target of room sales assigned by the Director of Sales.Maintain a detailed knowledge of hotel facilities, features and services.Personnel
Support the implementation of The Hyatt Care Purpose, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt's values and culture characteristics.Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture among the sales & marketing team.Lead department meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training programs to enhance team performance.Coordinate with other hotel departments to align marketing communication strategies with the overall hotel objectives.Manage the day‑to‑day operational aspects of marketing communications, including content creation, distribution, and advertising campaigns.Stay updated on emerging industry trends and operational technologies to enhance marketing communication processes.Assist with media buying and ad placement for marketing campaigns, optimizing the operational aspect of advertising efforts.Oversee event marketing operational plans, including advertising, collateral production, and promotional materials.Implement internal controls and audit processes to monitor operational activities related to marketing communication.Attend and contribute to all training sessions and meetings as required.Exercise responsible behaviour at all times and positively represent the hotel team and Hyatt Hotel Group.Maintain strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations, especially travel agencies, local business groups and airlines.Read the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations, especially the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.Respond to changes in the Sales and Marketing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, and brand management.Preferably in the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, or travel).Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.Prior experience in a related junior role, such as Marketing Coordinator or Executive, is often necessary.Seniority level
