Full-Stack Backend Engineer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly competent backend‑leaning full‑stack engineer who can confidently own API, service, and database layers—and work in a fast‑moving team environment where logic, clarity, and maintainability matter more than fancy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs using FastAPI or the Frappe Framework (ERPNext)
• Write clean service‑layer logic and reusable business functions
• Define and manage Pydantic / Schema models for request / response validation
• Integrate and optimize both SQL (PostgreSQL / MariaDB) and NoSQL (Redis / MongoDB etc.)
• Implement async and sync execution patterns properly (e.g., Celery workers, background tasks)
• Contribute to modular, maintainable codebases with clear separation of concerns
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to translate requirements into workflows
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and feature planning
