Project Manager

Overview

Project Manager role at IEC Process & Monitoring Sdn Bhd. Location : Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. This role requires strong leadership in project delivery across mechanical, electrical, civil, or related engineering disciplines, with experience in construction, power systems, data centers, or M&E projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and execute all project activities from award to completion, including procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure all project milestones, technical requirements, and documentation are met.
• Coordinate internal resources (engineering, drafting, fabrication, and site teams) to ensure coordinated execution.
• Review technical drawings, M&E layouts, and construction details to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor and control project schedules, budgets, and cash flows; prepare progress reports and variation claims when required.
• Ensure project quality, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and final handover documentation.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and issue minutes, risk registers, and project updates to management.
• Support management in resolving technical or contractual issues that arise during execution.
