Role
Key Accountabilities
KPI (Key Performance Index) setting for direct reports, monitor and periodic review to assure KPI metOverseeing the management of the IT security department, giving leadership to the team and developing staffManage Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operational Expenditure (OPEX) budgetResponsible for developing and implementing U Mobile’s Cyber Security plan.Devising strategies and implementing IT solutions to minimise the risk of cyber‑attacksResponsible for planning and monitoring all activities related to IT security in UM, including establishing IT security policies, auditing effectiveness of security measures, ensuring user compliance, and refreshing / upgrading policies and systems.Responsible for management of all activities related to IT risks, including Business Continuity Plans.Manage and monitor KPIs to ensure all IT partners’ deliveries meet contract specifications and terms & conditions.Manage collaboration and relationships between departments to deliver solutions that meet customers’ business needs.Periodic reporting of project status and escalation of issues as required.Conduct project post‑mortems to identify successful elements and improvement areas.Quarterly reporting on security posture and incidents for Audit committee.Reporting all Cyber Security related incidents.About You
Job Requirements
Degree in IT and minimum 18 years of working in IT technical fieldDigital leadership skills – capable of empowering and leading an IT team to meet business and IT security goalsAbility to adapt to a fast‑moving IT landscape and keep pace with latest thinking and new security technologiesA passion for technology and security safeguarding with a desire to deliverThrives on change, showing an impressive ability to drive the IT security strategy forwardAnalytical mind capable of managing numerous information sources and providing data analysis reports to senior managementStrong customer focus – able to meet the demands of internal and external customersExcellent communication skills – providing verbal and written communication that is outstanding to both direct reports and senior management as well as other stakeholdersFlexible and adaptable – capable of changing direction where required and showing flexibility to meet new demandsForms business partnerships that help drive the IT security strategy forwardCreative thinking – able to look at alternatives and consider new ways of thinking to problem‑solveMulti‑tasking – can manage several concurrent projects and prioritise demandsVendor Management – able to manage vendors and hold them to their contractual deliverablesManaging departmental budget CAPEX and OPEXPresentation and communication skillExperience in Billing system, CRM and other Telco Operations SystemsKnowledge in Financial Services RegulationsWhat’s Next?
