Senior Facilities Engineer

Assures all facilities support equipment and critical utilities operate within parameters. Assures up to date drawings of new and / or exiting facilities, machinery, equipment and processes. Contribute to and manages preparing facility Capital Budgets. Makes recommendation for machinery and equipment overhaul, renovations or replacement. Coordinate PM activities and documentation. Assists EHS activities when applicable and appropriate. Provide technical knowledge and problem solving. Monitors operations of facility support system and critical utilities; make recommendations to improve efficiency and reliability and to avoid unplanned downtime. Provides guidance and direction in optimizing plant energy. consumption. Provides benchmarking of consumption and makes recommendations for improvements to reduce consumption. Provides guidance and direction of facility maintenance and construction activities. Provides guidance and direction of projects involving alterations to facilities support system and critical utilities. Provides troubleshooting of facilities operational issues. Liaise with authorities such as DOSH, DOE, etc. pertaining to HSE issues. Assist the Facilities Maintenance team with contractor screening and qualifications. Provide training to contractors to assure the contractors work safely while performing tasks on site. Chairs or facilitates site Health, Safety & Environmental Steering Committee, management Safety Task Force, and Safety Committees. Conduct ergonomic assessments as necessary for production, material handling and administration. Recommend appropriate corrective actions and ensure completion in a timely manner. Conduct routine periodic inspections in all functional areas, recommend corrective / preventive actions for risk, and hazard reduction. Develops and delivers employee health, safety and environmental training programs. Provide input to accident investigation for all incidents including near misses, first aid, recordable injuries and lost time injuries. Work with Team to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions as appropriate. Maintains records and documentation relative to compliance, training and reporting of health, safety and environmental programs. Maintain all permits and licenses in the HaemoHSE system to assure renewals are up to date and current. Related knowledge and experience in Siemens Factory Monitoring Control System or similar Building Management System. Track key safety and environmental performance indicators such as near misses, first aid injuries, recordable injuries, all recycling activities, utilities consumption and waste disposal. Job requirements

Bachelor Degree in Engineering Electrical / Electronics or equivalent. Preferably with Chargeman certification. Minimum 5 years related experience. Knowledge in production requirement will be an added advantage. Good command of English either in communication or in written EEO Policy Statement
