Job Description

Responsible to carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment to ensure the operational efficiency of lens manufacturing lines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide line support for equipment setup, recovery & corrective maintenance to meet KPIs defined in respective functional area.
  • Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and complete documentation as required (e-checklist).
  • Perform service of parts, assemblies and swap kits.
  • Tracks spare parts & consumables usage to ensure availability for production usage.
  • Assist Engineer on equipment installation, product-system qualification, equipment troubleshooting & projects in any area of overall equipment efficiency (OEE) improvements.
  • Work as a team member of an integrated team to maximize tool availability and process yield.
  • Ensure 5S, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety & health protocols compliances.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications

  • Education level : Diploma in Engineering or Certificate in Engineering with minimum 3 years working experience. Preferably Mechanical / Mechatronic, Electrical & Electronics candidates.
  • Year of Experience : Minimum 1 year of working experience in related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Capability : Well versed in analytical, problem solving and good communication skills. The ability to learn fast and to be able to work within a team.
  • Skills : Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel application.
  • Language : English & Malay is a must; Japanese will be an added advantage.
